On Saturday I was pleased to facilitate the first event of the year- Falling Off the Cushion ...And Getting Back On Again. There were eight participants ranging from some experienced meditators to others who had never meditated at all.
The stillness and silence during the meditation sessions was wonderful.
As always, whenever I offer an event I reflect afterward. I feel I can add more time to each of the 3 guided meditations, and perhaps spend a little less time talking.
I also thought about the word "teacher", and feel the word "peer supporter" is more accurate, it feels right at the moment.
I was delighted with the feedback, and the generosity of the attendees means I can hire this venue again if available in April.
I am feeling positive that this is a meaningful way to share my meditation journey for the support of others on the meditation path, or thinking about it.
